Getty Curator Reveals Rembrandt, Models

Anne Woollett, associate curator in the department of paintings at the , will discuss “In the Guise of Art: Rembrandt and His Models,” Thursday, Oct. 15 at 6 p.m. in ĢƵ’s Founders Dining Room. Her talk, which is free and open to the public, is presented in conjunction with “” on display in through October. A specialist in Northern Painting before 1700, Woollett has authored several books on late 16th-century Flemish painting, including “” and “.” She organized exhibitions at the Getty Center including “Making a Renaissance Painting,” “Rembrandt’s Late Religious Portraits” and “.” She recently lectured about Rembrandt at the , and the .
